嗷嗷中文童書專賣來自一位定居在澳洲雪梨的台灣媽媽成立。2014年孩子出生之後，因為期待孩子可以對中文保持興趣，開始接觸中文繪本，持續的在孩子睡前共讀好幾年的時光。

親子共讀活動讓父母能夠深刻地體會到與孩子之間的相處跟互動，除了日常對話之外，共讀可以讓幼兒時期的孩子們，增加中文字彙量的最好方法。透過親子共讀，更可以培養學齡前後的孩子們觀察力、思索力以及探究力，拓展學習的眼界，並且透過說故事的方式自然而然的讓孩子接觸中文，帶領孩子們步入浩瀚的閱讀世界，讓孩子們喜歡閱讀也不需要理由。

owlowls was founded by a Taiwanese mum living in Sydney, Australia. Since her first child was born in 2014, reading  books to her children has been a favourite bedtime activity. It also quickly became a way to maintain the children's interest in the Mandarin language.

Reading with children strengthens the relationship between parents and children. It also makes it easier for children to listen, understand, and speak Mandarin by listening to easy- to-digest stories.
